Unfinished Books

I'm really disappointed with myself because I still can't finish all these books! I have tons of books and Interior Magazines to read and not to mention, the e-books.. but sadly, I just can't find the time to do it which is ironic because stopping school and all, I'm free since June!! I guess being fond of so many things hinders my bookworm self. ugh. I just can't manage my time to do all the things I love ---- painting, dancing, revamping clothes, doing crafts, designing, reading, writing, eating, sleeping, doing movie marathons, and daydreaming. Right now, I still can't believe how busy I had been since I stopped from doing plates! 24 hours is definitely not enough for me. But anyway, I just want to share these unfinished books and e-books of mine. Thought you might like them. :)

1. The Holy Bible. I want to read the bible before I die. This doesn't need a lot of explaining because I'm a devoted Catholic and I really love the refreshing feeling it gives me. Every time I read this, verse by verse, I feel so very blessed and hope arises in me. =)

2. The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. This book belongs to my cousin's classmate's sister. haha. He used this for a book review in class and while I was in their house spending my vacation, I finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (the only book I brought with me). I wanted to read something to kill my boredom (not that it was boring their) so I asked my cousin if he has a book I can borrow and so, he gave me this! It has an interesting plot. It tackles about Mother-Daughter relationship.

3. The Little Prince. I already finished reading this book back in high school (or in elementary. I can't remember. lol). I just love the story so much that I decided to re-read it. :))

4. The Count of Monte Cristo. From the very first page that I read it, I was literally hanging on the edge of my seat! It was that good! Too bad I haven't read the whole book! I have the DVD of the movie but I don't want to watch it yet because I want to finish reading it first.

5. Mythology by Edith Hamilton. I'm very interested with Greek Mythology. This book belongs to my dad and I asked him If I can have it. And he said yes. so yay! haha. I had this ever since I was in high school. UGH. Can you imagine all those years that this book has been lying around my bookcase? Definitely need to find time. :(

6. Dear John. I already watched the movie adaptation but my grandma told me that the ending of the book and of the movie was very different from each other. I think the book was more dramatic so I wanted my heart to shatter into pieces while reading.

7. Songs of the North. I haven't started reading this one yet. :( I love animals and the book cover is really nice so I bought it. haha. (Yes, I sometimes judge a book by its cover. haha. But I do love old books.. really. I love those with torn book covers and stuff).

I still have 3 books by the most awesome Interior Designer slash author, Charlotte Brown, to finish. I already  finished reading the first volume and did a review here. I want to read everything already because I want to feed my hungry brain and heart for more design secrets before I go back to design school.

As you all know, I took a break in reading this trilogy because I need some sleep. haha. Remember this post? No matter how much I wanted to continue reading Mockingjay, I must control myself. I'll try to finish other commitments as quickly as possible so I could read the last book! ahhhhh! :)

Any other books you want to suggest? Or if you want me to do a book review on your book/s, email me at

for inquiries :))

  12. Quite true! I have a lot of books too. Though my real problem nowadays are the reviews that I should be writing about them. Plus, I lost my notebook of reviews :(
