Rae Abigael J. Caacbay is a 28- year old ballerina, visual artist, lifestyle blogger, and designer based in Manila, Philippines. She is also the founder and creative director of made by arc design studio, a diverse team of designers and furniture makers that offers quality craftsmanship in creating bespoke pieces that can contribute to different lifestyles.

3 years after working as an employee to different companies, she finally took the leap of faith to turn her hobbies into her bread and butter. She's now a freelancer doing work (from design, contractor works, furniture making, writing/marketing, and graphic design, to blogging and painting) anytime, anywhere while enjoying every moments of her life! 

Her advocacy is to fight the "poison" that the media is inflicting in the society regarding naturally curly-haired women. And she also tries to diffuse the beauty of ballet in a country where this type of art is underappreciated.


Raellarina-The Ballerina on Fire is a lifestyle blog established in 2011, covering various topics from Rae’s personal life experiences and adventures - from being lost in the middle of fulfilling her dreams, failing her ballet audition, to celebrating the beauty of life, moving forward, chasing dreams, and traveling to places (while having strict parents!). Basically, Raellarina is her virtual sanctuary for interior design adventures, fashion experiments, art expressions, life on stage, and sometimes, self-preservation.

This blog has inspired young millennials to take risks & make their big move even though they feel a bit scared in order to pursue their own goals and dreams.
