Laid back (What I wore to The Nutcracker)


Here's my take on the shirt dress piece that stylish lazy tumblr girls wear and still look aesthetically pleasing that most of us can't manage on a regular basis. I mean, I, for one, seriously can't wear an over-sized t-shirt and turn it into a dress because I'm tall and it would be super short for me. So really grateful that Zaful has this Belted Striped Long Sleeve Shirt Dress because I finally got to try this trend! 

By the way, I don't really follow trends because I wear what I like so if ever I go with trends, it only means that I really like the piece! Just want to share that.





Anyway, I wore this shirt dress when I watched The Nutcracker last December 2017. And it's nice to be laid back in fashion once in a while. The material is polyester so it's comfy and it's not hot, something great if you're living in a 30-40 Degrees Celsius weather. And I love how it fits me well.

I placed the knot of the detachable belt in the middle but the proper way must be on the side. But whatever, I wore it like that (haha) and I like it all the same.





However though, this shirt dress is thin so I had to wear a bodycon skirt underneath so my undies won't show while walking! I just wish it's a bit thicker so I don't need to layer.

    That is such a nice shirt dress! I think shirt dresses are such a classic, something you can wear for years! :)
