How to Sleep in the Forest... with 3D Beddings!

One of the most beautiful things in this world is being able to bring the outside in through interior design! One of the things I truly love is the forest (nature) and living in it is one of my dreams. However, let's face it, literally living in the forest is not possible unless you've decided to isolate yourself from the city for good. Fortunately for me, I'm an interior design student who's keen to modernize things and twist the norms a bit.

Is sleeping in the forest possible even if you're in the middle of the busy streets of the city? Do you have to use a wild amount of plants to re-create the forest in your room? What if you want a minimalist style but still want to feel like you're living in the forest? Is a rugged and a dirty look necessary for the forest-like room? Where do you start? How do you do it?

Worry no more dreamers for in this blog post, I will try my best to share what I know and hopefully,  help you in bringing the outside in.

++ KEEP IN MIND ++
There are few things to consider before you start redecorating your own space in a forest-like style. However, I cannot share, rather, "teach" you the proper way to layout your furniture, the psychology of colors and lighting, etc, for it takes years to learn the proper science of them so what I'll be sharing are the design elements such as the color scheme and design styles, and as well as tips in achieving the look.

++ THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU START DESIGNING ++
1. Create a mood board.
2. Compute your budget.

++ COLOR SCHEME ++
You're probably thinking of brown and green for this forest-like room but don't limit yourself in those colors. Here are the color schemes you can use:

REMEMBER TO ALWAYS USE BLACK OR WHITE TO BALANCE EVERYTHING OUT.

++ DESIGN STYLES ++
There are numerous interior design styles you can use to achieve your desired forest-like home. Here are some of them:

1. BOHEMIAN INTERIOR DESIGN STYLE

"Bohemian style evokes images of artists, gypsies, travelers, and hippies. Based on the Eastern European traveler gypsy aesthetic, Bohemian styles allows for a broad array of choices for colors, accessories and decorating accents. Decorating a bedroom, living room, house or apartment in Bohemian style allows for your own personal style and aesthetic to show through. Bohemian decor styles are appropriate for decorating on a budget, as you can easily integrate secondhand items and found treasures into your decorating." - Pamela Ann Ludwig, Bohemian Interior Decorating

2. THE GREENHOUSE-LIKE INTERIOR DESIGN STYLE

3. SCANDINAVIAN INTERIOR DESIGN STYLE

{photo credit}

"Born in the 1930s, Scandinavian design belongs to modernism, a movement marked by functionalism and simplification of forms, that he tried to humanize by the use of natural materials (wood, leather, hemp, etc.) and to democratize by the use of innovative techniques to make their objects in series at reasonable prices. The purpose of Scandinavian design is to improve the daily life... in their works, we often find a strong relationship with nature visible in the mixture of abstraction and natural shapes (curved shore of a lake, tree bark, plant fragments, etc.)" - Scandinavia Design

4. MORI-GIRL INTERIOR DESIGN STYLE

Have you ever dreamed of slowing down time so you could enjoy the lush of the beauty of the world but you can't because you're living in the middle of the city with horns blowing, people screaming, and moving so fast?

5. INTERIOR DESIGN WITH BOTANICAL PRINTS

This design is one of my most favorite designs by Mrs. Charlotte Brown of Interior Design It Yourself and I had this urge that I must share it to you. You can read design tips on this particular style here because the guide is really helpful and inspiring.

++ TIDEBUY 3D BEDDING ++

In styling a forest-like room, you can use a Tidebuy cheap 3D bedding. It actually has a wide range of  Tidebuy 3D bedding sets Canada, Tidebuy 3D comforter sets, and Tidebuy new arrival 3D bedding sets.

3D bedding can take you into a magnificent 3D bedding world effect!

So what is a 3D Bedding?

A 3D Bedding is a new concept sought-after by interior designers and customers all over the world.

The ones sold by Tidebuy.com have so many merits. First of all, various kinds of patterns designed are particular and lifelike.. Second, both the air permeability and environmental protection of those items can meet the requirement of the users. For a person, about a third of time is spent in bed; therefore, using breathable and comfortable bedding sets does do good to health. Tidebuy 3d bedding sets indeed are good choices for quality-focused buyers. (words from their website)

I find this really cool because it would be nice to imagine oneself lying under the tree with flowers and butterflies everywhere (3rd photo from the left, above) after a long, and busy day.~

(Check-out Tidebuy on facebooktwittertumblryoutube, and on their website.)

++ MORE TIPS TO KNOW IN DESIGNING A FOREST-LIKE SPACE ++

1. Make sure that the space is relaxing, comfy, and cozy. That's the thing about a forest-like room. You don't want to leave as soon as you set foot in there!
2. Use the Tidebuy 3D beddings I've introduced a few seconds ago for they will surely add spice to any space.
3. Feel the vibe. Listen to classical music or anything that reminds you of nature. Music helps too you know.

    1. I'm planning to get 3D bedding too but I'm afraid my country doesn't offer it yet? I'm not really sure but I haven't seen them yet in the Philippine market (I hope I'm wrong). So purchasing 3D Bedding online will be very pricey for me. I hope I'll get to see your new bedding soon Launna! :)
