Bloom Arts Festival 2 (part 2)
As promised, here is the 2nd part of Bloom Arts Festival 2!!! I've never been so inspired with artworks as beautiful as the world before us.
My college best friend told me that I look like the painting so I posed beside it. haha!
Spot Jose Rizal on the wall!:)
Amazing details! I can't even imagine myself having the passion to work on the details like this. The artist is amazing!
Wednesday Adams! Adorable. Hello, childhood!~
Tokwa Penaflorida's artworks!
Illustrations by Soleil Ignacio.
Seeing these walls filled with 6" x 6" artworks, I really regretted that I didn't submit my works. I actually painted Shimmering Shadow on the Water and Telltale Hum for Bloom Arts Festival 2 but I don't know how to go to the venue and everyone was so busy that I don't have someone to go to and submit. :'(
I really hate the fact that I'm not pushing myself to just go do it. regrets, regrets. So now, I'm trying to grab every opportunity I get to not experience these emotions again. haha!
Live (?) portrait painting. If only I brought money with me I have got mine painted. I love his style!
Anyway, really hands-down to artists like him who could take in all the staring while working. I mean, as an artist, I really don't like it when people look at me while working on my masterpiece.~
That guy in white shirt is actually my orgmate and I didn't realize that it was him until we were all at the next gallery. haha!
Photos by Aleyn Comprendio
I think you can tell why I love this piece... :"3
I apologize for the lengthy post. I just wanted to share my time in this amazing art festival with you and I actually deleted a lot of photos already. My favorites artists such as Soleil Ignacio, Tokwa Penaflorida, and Aleyn Comprendio were part of this so that's the reason why I am aware of Bloom Arts Festival. This is the festival's 2nd year. The first one was really wonderful too and I'm hoping that there will be a 3rd one this year. Seriously. I think Bloom Arts Festival will be held annually? *hoping*.
See Part 1 here.

You shared some really inspiring pieces here, Rae. My favourite is te Mona Lisa looking Wednesday. The style reminds me a little of Mark Ryden but not as morbid.

I don't know who Mark Ryden is but I went to google and found his website. wow. his works are interesting ans yes, the Mona Lisa piece looks like a work of Mark Ryden, but softer i guess? hehe.

The the talent evident in the artwork exhibited at the Bloom Arts Festival was extraordinary! I love seeing all the photos. It's a nic though that in future art shows you could have some of your own artwork there and be featured in some as well. That painting you posed next to does look a bit like you.
