I'm the Unicorn At The End Of The Rainbow

If there's one dress in the world which can make you happy and make you feel like you're a ballerina or a unicorn, this is that one dress. It was unimaginable really, how this dress looked unpleasant upon hanging it in my wardrobe but by the time I saw myself in it, I felt an urge to put on my pointes and dance ballet!~

I can't believe how pretty the dress is and how amazing I look in it. teehee. :3

Note to self: Don't judge a garment by itself without a person wearing it. In short, try it on first before judging the creation. heh~




I love the tulle skirt of the dress. It's not too puffy, not too much tulle.. just right. :) I am a real-life ballerina and I love wearing tutus when dancing but wearing a skirt which is the same as the tutu I wear in recitals and shows is just wrong. Seriously, I can't imagine myself walking down the street wearing a tutu as my everyday outfit. It's just not right and I can't even take the fact that there are girls who are comfortable doing that. But anyway, the pointE is, this dress is fabulously wearable!







A little update about my life: I went to the library today (but this wasn't my OOTD) and I researched about theaters for my thesis. Also, the librarians were very nice! They gave me new books, yes, NEW, literally new because the books are not yet being displayed, and they allowed me to borrow them. wooopie! I juuuust loooove the library and the people in it. :)))) Also, I went to the bookstore to buy some stuff and the most important thing I did today was I finally stretched my limbs and muscles again! I can no longer do the splits though but with stretch exercises, I'll be able to do it again anytime soon.

    RaeAbigael I agree we cannot judge a look of an clothing item on a hanger, it really needs to be tried on. I have seen items on a hanger that look awesome, I tried them on and they looked awful on me but I have also seen items I wouldn't choose and I end up falling in love with them..

    Good luck with the stretching and being able to do the splits again soon <3

    I've a feeling that the graceful way you move could make most dresses look pretty! I love the detailed colourful details on the bodice and sleeves and the pink colour and tulle of the lower part of the dress. It's lovely.
