REVIEW: Aloe Vera Soothing Gel by Nature Republic

I'm starting to get obsessed with what I put on my very sensitive skin. Actually, I'm starting to experiment on what's the best combination of products for my skin because I don't have the most flawless skin in the world and pimples and acne are growing at random places and at random times. That being said, I'm trying to discover a skincare routine that would suit me perfectly, thus, I am open to trying out different products as long as I don't try them all at the same time.

Anyway, I've recently discovered this Aloe Vera Soothing Gel and I've been using it for quite some time now. I just want to document a bit of my thoughts on this product but most likely, I'm gonna be back after a few months with another review if this is effective for me or not.

There are lots of ways to use the Aloe Vera Soothing Gel and most probably, I'm gonna try them all. But right now, I just use it as a night mask but here are a variety of ways on how to use it:

1. MOISTURIZING GEL / NIGHT MASK - Aloe Vera helps facilitate cell growth, reduces acne scars and blemishes (I have lots of this right now), reduces inflammation, and provides an abundance of hydration. So it works well as a moisturizer!

What I'm doing now: I apply this at night before sleeping and leave it on until I wake up the next morning.

2. EYE PATCH - They say that Aloe Vera is great at preventing premature wrinkling.

3. MAKE UP BASE - Mix your make-up base, foundation, bb or cc cream in a 2:1 ratio with this aloe vera gel.

4. HAIR TREATMENT / HAIR GEL - Aloe Vera facilitates hair growth. I remember the older generation growing aloe vera at home so they could use it to grow their hair. So apply this Aloe Vera gel to your hair as a hair pack or use as a gel to give hair extra shine and keep hair in place.

5. SOOTHING CREAM - As this also serves as a soothing cream, this might be very useful this summer! Apply to sunburns if necessary to reduce pain, itchiness, and inflammation.

6. BODY LOTION - Because aloe vera gives moisture and reduces stretch marks, why not apply it to your body?

7. FOOT GEL - This aloe vera gel can be used as an alternative of petroleum jelly as a means of a foot gel. I have a ballerina's feet (with all the bunions and roughness and wounds) and I've been hearing lots of good reviews on this so apply it as a foot gel.

The vitamins from the Aloe Vera extract such as vitamins E,C, and other minerals keep the skin moisturized and protect the skin from UV rays. This Aloe Vera Soothing Gel isn't sticky as it quickly absorbs into the skin, so need not to worry about that.
