After The balladeer meets the ballerina, here comes "The ballerina and the prince of ice"! (Thanks Ate Au for the title!) :))) Oh my goodness you guys, am I the luckiest ballerina ever? I feel so blessed!

I have the cutest and most adorable pas de deaux partner ever! OHMGEEE. hahaha :)))) Hello there Michael Christian Martinez, the most incredible Olympic Filipino figure skater ever ! =D Alright, so yes. I really am the luckiest ballerina ever. heehee.

My second fairy tale happened last Sunday during Michael Christian Martinez' Grand Fans day held at Megatrade Hall 2 in SM Megamall. Michael "is the first skater from Southeast Asia and figure skater from the tropical zone to qualify for the Olympics and the only athlete to represent the Philippines at the 2014 Winter Olympics." (click this).  So anyway, back to "the story of my life" hahaha. Oh my gosh! So here it goes...

I was not aware that he'll have a grand fans day for I was so busy and so pre-occupied with my thesis. But I was contacted by Tita Bess and she invited me to dance ballet for Michael Martinez. OF COURSE I SAID YES! This is the Michael Martinez we're talking about dreamers! haha <3 Oh my gosh! Tita Bess is like my fairy-god mother ---> David Archuleta finally noticed me and saw me dance; and now, Michael Martinez NOTICED ME AND SAW ME DANCE! =3



SEE ME DANCE

Unlike my unpreparedness and on-the-spot dance for David, I actually spent half of my Saturday practicing this dance for Michael because he is a figure skater and the music which Tita Bess wants me to dance is the music which Michael used in the sochi.ru 2014. In short, hello pressure! Truth be told, I was so nervous.

I actually can't even look at him during the dance because I was so shy. Mejo tinignan ko lang siya nung start tapos hindi na. haha :\ :))


Ito ngiti niya sakin. hihi. (This is his smile to me). OMG. I made him smile! hahaha. okay. I am very kinikilig right now. :)))



The stage wasn't wood nor carpeted. It was glass or plastic yata (what kind of Interior Design student am I? I can't even identify. LOL). Anyway, so this means that it's actually a bit dangerous for me to dance because I might break a bone or injure myself. But since I already had an experience dancing on this type of surface (remember the Trishie Couture Grand Launch?), I know that I can dance on it. But I can't do it in an extreme manner though. Too bad. But thank God I didn't embarrass myself and fall. :")



Guys, to be honest, muntik nang di mangyari ang pictures na 'to. :( hahaha
Because you see, after my performance, I went down the stage. Tapos I walked slowly, dahan-dahan talaga guys, with matching sulyap kay Michael while actually thinking, "ano ba yaaan. di ko man lang siya mayayakap. :(" Basta I swear, lakad tapos pa-demure na tingin sa kanya. Eh siya din kasi tumitingin na sakin tapos gusto din niyang tumayo na ewan. Yung parang nagkakahiyaan kami. Eh tumayo na siya, tapos ako sabay takbo papunta sa kanya sabay nag-hug kami. Parang teleserye lang ang peg. hahaha. Tapos ito na yun guys. Oh my gee. Ang cute naming tignan. hahaha. eh kasi, bagay daw kami. tapos magkamuka daw kami. :D hahaha.

Sorry for my tagalog international readers. It's better expressed like this. sorry. :( You can google translate if you want to have an idea though. hihi.~


 There were 3 performances for Michael Martinez. I was the first to perform and the only soloist (naks. ako lang kasi solo flight ee). :) The rest were by group. :) Here's our group shot! :D


I always do the attitude back pose in the different places I visit. I'm actually planning to do some kind of creative project on this. :))

The grand fans day was so amazing and so fun! I met a lot of new friends too! My parents were so supportive, they went to the Megamall with me because I really don't know how to commute. haha. They didn't watch though. I just flooded them with stories. hihi.~

Also, I feel so loved. There were Michael Martinez' fans who asked me (while I was staring at Michael during the autograph signing) if they can get their pictures taken with me. And I was like, "ay totoo ba guys? shocks naman..." HAHAHA. Oh my gosh, sorry for my reaction. I'm usually the one who asks people to get my pictures taken with them, not the other way around. But anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Honestly, I've experienced this several times in different places, but it's just that, I always react in the same way. haha. sorry. Love you all. mwah mwah~




Also, thank you for these compliments. Actually, meron pa nga but I just want to say that I truly appreciate it when people appreciate and like my craft since ballet is usually ignored here in the Philippines. But I guess, Michael Martinez has helped in promoting the performing arts. *thumbs up* :DD

    Congrats, Rae. Lucky you. Me and my friends wanted to go to this. We were at the celebrity bazaar when someone told us he was having an m&g next door. We took a peek but we were intimidated by his fans - they were too young and a lot were chaperoned, haha. We are 'old' farts, lol(mid 20s). Might get strange looks from attendees. It looks fun though. Most of the fans who chatted with us outside were really nice and they all looked like they had some religious, otherworldly experience.
    Michael is probably classically trained. You can tell by his poise and the way he starts his fs routine.

      Hello, thank you so much! :) Too bad you didn't push through and you guys just took a peek! No one is too old when it comes to fangirling! :D Ako nga, I'm 20 (but still chaperoned. hahaha). I'm pretty sure that you will not get strange looks from the fans because they are all so sweet, nice, and super friendly! Next time, don't get intimidated because their focus is really concentrated kay Michael. hihi :))) Also, YES! that's the thing about fangirling eh. I'm not as die-hard as I am to Michael when you compare it to David Archuleta, but still, fangirling is like a religion. But we don't really worship the stars. haha. It's just that, I guess they really had made this strong impact in our lives kaya ganun. haha :))

      And I agree. I think Michael is really classically trained. The way he stands, the way he sits, and just his gestures. I find this really adorable. haha :3
