Kind of a life update. Hello, 2023!

Dear You.

Hello! It's been a while since I last been here. I missed this. If you're a long-time reader and you're still here, I greatly appreciate you and I missed you a lot. If you're new here and just happened to stumble across this blog, hello hello! Welcome.

I'm writing this at 9 in the morning, amidst my pending work and errands to do. But it's alright as I am my own boss. :) It's been a while because life really took over and I enjoyed it while experiencing ups and a couple of downs that made a bunch or dark storms which I managed to get out of and enjoy the sunshine and rainbows. Yes, that's right. Life.

There were a lot of instances that I really wanted to just sit down, write, and share my experiences here but I just couldn't find the time to do so. Last year, I really wanted to write about my first ever Korean Fanmeet experience here but it just ended up on the drafts, with only the title written. It was Cha Eunwoo's and I just constantly made reels and tiktok videos (ticket selling | Starry Caravan in MNL) and Instagram posts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) of my experience.

So, honestly speaking, I really don't know where to start but I've decided to exert a lot of effort on writing and sharing backlogs since I reached 1.4 million blog views already. And I thank you for that!

Let me start this of by sharing that I am now a fur mom of two! I adopted my baby dog, Tuffy, last 2019. I haven't shared her enough here on the blog but I did publish posts like this, this, this, and this that feature her. I now have two dogs, and I got Ponkee, my baby boy, last 2022. I love them both so much and they are always with me 24/7. I'm genuinely grateful to have them in my life as they are really my bundle of joy and happiness, kind of the reason why I no longer paint my sadness as much as I used to because I don't dwell on my sadness anymore. hehe.

Here is Tuffy and Ponkee's Instagram Account.

(forgot to include the AOMG World Tour here. hehe)

Next on the update is, *drum roll please* my Korean Oppas. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I, Rae Abigael, entered the Hallyu Wave. I'm laughing at my younger self actually because I kept on saying since I was in high school, that I will never *ever* be a fan of Korean music but lo and behold, look at me now. hahah. I will definitely share more of this soon. It just happened and it started during the pandemic. But for now, I just want to say that I've attended A LOT of fan meetings and concerts (western artists included) last year 2022 and that kept me busy chasing for my happiness.

I'm still pursuing interior design. I'm so proud of myself for not giving up despite everything that happened. If you can remember, I had my fair share of experiencing my quarter life crisis and then overcoming it. Also experienced a couple of issues that really tested me as a designer and contractor. I'm a lot stronger now and so is my career. :) My design studio is going strong and it's still my bread and butter.

I'm now a freelance writer. I write articles and microblogs and I'm working under an agent. So, this is basically my side hustle. I squeeze in some time to write and I try my best to deliver all my tasks. I used to write back in high school as I was a features editor of our school newspaper. Thus, working as a writer even as a side hustle is somehow, fulfilling for me.

I launched my online shop last year as well. I wrote about it here. Sadly, I kind of neglected it although I am continuously working on a new collection. I will try my very best to work harder to launch my second collection very soon.

Lastly, I've been travelling and spending time with my family. We've been to a lot of places around the Philippines and got to try a lot of things, too.

So far, these are the things that kept me busy for the past year. Life has been good though I had my down moments from time to time, but I am extremely grateful for the past year. I'll try to share as much as I can so I can document.

I've been documenting my life over on Instagram and Tiktok. I'm actually on there every day. I guess I found it a lot easier to create content there as I just do everything via my iphone. But I do want to go back in actually blogging, so here I am. Taking a little step forward.

How are you doing? Thank you for being here.

  14. Tienes un blog muy interesante. Es primera vez que paso por aquí...

Es cierto que crear contenido en RRSS puede ser mucho más fácil y dinámico, pero (...y esta es una opinión personal...) no se compara con la intimidad de un blog.
Tienes unas hermosas mascotas. ¡¡Siempre son buenas para el alma!! ♥♥

Te mando un gran abrazo y muchas gracias por la visita! =)
