FEMME LUXE: Emerald Velvet Bodycon Maxi Dress

In all honesty, I was saving this dress for a family dinner or a night out with friends because the emerald green velvet color of this bodycon dress makes it so fancy and elegant. However though, given that we're still on quarantine (and I have a feeling that this will still go on for more months), might as well do my own shoot here at home, in my room, just like the old times when the art of blogging was still so new and vlogging on youtube doesn't exist yet. If you'd ask me, I miss that time where the blogging circle was so small that you basically knew each other and everything was so genuine.

Anyway, enough reminiscing and let's just talk about my dress. This velvet bodycon dress from Femme Luxe Finery is super lovely. But to be honest, it's not the most comfortable piece you'll ever wear. I mean, the idea I mentioned earlier about going to eat out in this dress would be not a great idea because it's hard to move in this. To think that I wore a lace top underneath, it's not comfy but it looks so pretty together. I mean, I can still breathe but let's just say that this dress is too tight that walking is difficult. But if I altered the length to just above my knee, it would be very okay to walk. I'm thinking that maybe the length is meant for taller girls, and not Asian women (and I stand at 5'4 1/2" - 5'5" which makes me taller than the average Asian ladies) especially because the brand is from the UK.

So the question is, will I wear this outside? Yes, I will if I will be able to alter the length of the dress. But I will not wear it as it is. I love it though because I it really compliments my body. Also, the photos didn't do justice but it's greener in person.
