Kitchen Renovation: Suntrust Parkview (Manila, Philippines)


Here's a quick small renovation that my team and I did over at made by arc during the last quarter of the year last year for a unit in Suntrust Parkview in Ermita, Manila. We worked on this kitchen renovation for about 14 working days.

Since the client (my high school math teacher, "hi, sir! thank you :>") resides in the unit, we cannot work inside the unit. So, we fabricated them in our studio and then delivered and installed afterwards. The project worked as a fit-out / modular.

Here are a few photos of the cabinet fabrication:



The existing base cabinets were in a bad state as the counter top was already falling and the cabinets were rotted. This is actually a common case for condo units because of the materials that they use in making the kitchen cabinets.



As you can see in the photo above, the counter top was falling apart.

We were able to restore it.

The hanging cabinets were newly installed in the unit so we patterned the wood stain finish from there.




Basically, what we did for this renovation project are the following:

- fabrication of the base cabinets
- restoration of the existing counter top
- installation of the tile backsplash

Working on a project with my high school teacher as my client is just unbelievable! Thank you so much for teaching me Math, Sir! And for believing in my capabilities years ago and today. hehe. Thank you po! :)
