Everyday Make-Up for Lazy Girls (Oily face)

First thing's first. I'm one of those girls who's just not a big fan of make-up like if I have no pimples to cover up and my face isn't oily, I'll literally not put on anything on my face except a lipstick or a lip gloss. However though, I first learned about make-up when I was 4-5 years old when my mom does my make-up for my ballet recitals. And I swear, I thought make-up was meant for the stage only until I was in my freshman year in college that I started using it on a daily basis. But not as bold as a stage make-up that is.

My skin is very oily (seriously hate that) and I have pimple marks all over (recovering from a really bad pimple case but finally getting better now). This is my simple, everyday make-up because I am very lazy and I don't want to put a lot on my face especially because I commute and I feel like all the dirt and pollution will stick on my face if I use too much. Thus, here's a lazy girl's (with an oily face) everyday make-up:

1. SUNCUT UV PROTECT GEL (SPF 50+ PA++++) - for the longest time, I thought sunblock was for the beach / swimming trips only.

Dr. Shilesh Iyer, M.D., a Board Certified dermatologist with the renown New York Dermatology Group, explains that "Ultraviolet rays that are the cause of sun damage and skin cancer are always present They are independent of cold or hot weather, and are not blocked by clouds. On overcast days, only visible rays (but not UVB rays) from the sun are blocked. The best way to protect the skin is with sun protection.

I want to take better care of my skin that's why I use sunscreen on my face (and also all over my body but I use another brand for my body). This suncut uv protect gel is from Japan.

2. MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALER - after putting sunscreen on my face, I then apply this maybelline fit me concealer to hide redness, pimples, flaws, and blemishes on my face. It's oil free and not sticky. Matches my skin tone well (I use 10 light leger) and appears very natural while really good at concealing everything. It's fragrance-free as well. I bought mine from Robinson's Dept. Store in Cloverleaf Ayala Mall

How to apply: Dot concealer onto imperfections or under the eyes then pat with a finger to blend.
I use a beauty blender after patting with my finger to blend more.

There are a lot of top liquid foundation for the money out there. Finding the ideal foundation for your skin is not an easy task but that link will help you lessen the difficulty for the comprehensive research has been done to help you. Might help so check that out.

3. QUICK FX NO SHINE MATTIFIER - I then apply this mattifier over my concealer (can be vice versa but I usually do it this way) to control the oiliness of my face. It really works though! And it's also not sticky in case you're wondering. I just use my fingers in applying it.

Bought this in Watson's for Php 99.00.

4. EB ADVANCE BB COMPACT POWDER (Shade: Matte Natural)  - I sometimes leave this out if I don't feel like using it because as to what I've said, I don't like so much on my face. But if I feel like using it, I use a really cute mermaid tail brush instead of the pad that comes with the compact powder because I feel like the pad is too much and applies so much on my face. Also i feel like it is bad for my pimples, might worsen them. That's just me.

Bought from Watson's.

5. EYEBROW SPOOLIE - Kilay is life, yes. But I have a natural thick (very thick) and very dark (so black) eyebrows and I usually trim them. So I don't do anything on my eyebrows but just brush them up.

6. BLISTEX MEDICATED BERRY BALM - I have choppy lips so I sometimes apply this first before the lipstick. Sometimes, I skip this.

7. LIPSTICK - I looooove lipsticks! Like, I'm not a huge make-up junkie but I own so many lipsticks of different brands and of different colors! I love lipsticks and lip products so much!

My everyday lippies though are:

- EB Advance Supreme Lipstick: I currently own two shades (Kylie and Dusky Rose) and I love this brand so much! It's very affordable but quality wise, it's super, super nice! The formula is really great.

- San San Glossy Lipstick (shade: Bronzy Glaze): I also love its formula that's why this is also one of my go-to lipsticks.

Basically, that's everything I do - just 7 steps (sometimes 5) and then I go running out because I'll be late! haha. Lipstick varies on my mood and on my outfit though.

  1. You are so lucky that you usually don't need make up! My skin unfortunately doesn't allow that...
