Hideout Tea and Coffee House

Hideout Tea and Coffee House - A Perfect Spot to Hang-out with Family and Friends

Located in South Caloocan, Hideout Tea and Coffee House is definitely a unique place to hang-out and dine! This is their 2nd Branch, Malabon being the first.

Being a North girl but living the Southern life, I guess it's time to try out what the North has to offer. My family likes to try out new places when it comes to eating and dining and since this establishment is just 2 jeepney rides away from home (ok. kidding. i'm not sure because we Uber-ed. haha), we tried out the place.

Hideout Tea and Coffee House was so packed with people as the night becomes darker. It opens at 3pm and closes at 3am. We arrived there at around 6pm so there were still a lot of available tables and we got settled in right away. However though, by the time we finished eating and got out of the coffee house, a long line was building up outside! I guess this place is really popular!

They have two sections where you can eat. There's an air conditioned area with the tables and chairs. And then there's this one, no ACs just fans and you'll sit on the floor. We opted to dine in this "outdoor-like" set-up to get the full experience.

Aesthetically, the place is definitely instagrammable! However though, improvements could be done. I know that they want to accommodate as much people as they can but the table layout should definitely be improved, especially because the place isn't air conditioned, mejo mainit talaga (but it's tolerable since it's night time) kasi mejo masikip nga siya and there's an obstruction of traffic for the servers and the customers.

(Note: in case you're not aware, I'm an interior designer so these things bother me)

Food is okay, not great, but the price is definitely affordable.

Their frappes range from Php 110-125. They have rice meals that range from Php 50-90, Appetizers (Php 25-120), Sandwiches (Php 40-90), and Pasta (Php 100-110). They even offer Single Basket, Couple Basket, and Barkada Basket!

We ordered 1 Snack Basket, 2 plates of Chicken Wings (because apparently, 1 plate is not enough for us), and 4 Frappes (Matcha Green Tea, Oreo Overload), and 1 Milk Tea.

Basically, the serving is huge for a very affordable price!

  12. What a great feature wall. The menu sounds yum. I just don't like seeing all of that single-use plastic. Can you opt for your drinks in a reusable cup instead?
