10 Hacks to Keep You Motivated no Matter What

It’s not always easy to be your own superhero, training at the gym, taking the dog for a walk, or taking care of the kids while balancing work, your social life and trying to maintain a decent household. It really can get overwhelming at times, and there are only so many hands and feet you can employ to get the job done.

You don’t even have to have a family, balancing work and free time can be stressful enough as it is. And while your goals and the image of your dream physique you have envisioned in your heart are still able to push you to get it done day in and day out, sometimes you just need a good pick-me-up.

Here to help you restore your energy and drive are ten hacks that will keep you motivated, with your eyes set on the prize and your heart hell bent on greatness.

1. Envision your future

There’s nothing that can get you to turn off the TV and wipe the crumbs off your shirt in determination to get up and get your glorious behind back into the gym like a good daydreaming session. What is it that you want to achieve?

What does your dream physique look like? Is the powerful image of your future self not enough to inspire perseverance in your heart? Close your eyes, and envision the future you want to create.

2. Play some kickass tunes

Do you remember that guy at your gym running on the treadmill, listening to something on his smartphone you wish you could hear, to find out what gets him so overly excited and motivated? You know, the guy that thinks he’s Rocky Balboa while he’s warming up.

You want to be that dude, well, in your own female way. That’s why you need to stuff your phone with motivational tunes and don’t just stick to one band or genre, add variety to the mix and keep it fresh at all times.

3. Dwell in the past

To get one thing straight, you shouldn’t dwell in the past, at least not often. But when you’re in a bind, and you’re unable to find your guiding star, the past might just be the kick in the butt your need.

There are a handful of things in life that can motivate a person like an image from the past, so ask yourself, do you want to go back to how things used to be? Exactly, so get up and get moving, or your past will catch up to you.

4. A spotless approach

Within a clean environment resides a healthy and thriving mind. In case you thought you were one of those creatives thriving in chaos, better think again, because a cluttered living environment is good for nothing more than killing your drive and enthusiasm.

So, what are you waiting for? Chop-chop, de-clutter you living space and witness your mind and soul starting to gain some much-needed clarity.

5. Make a schedule

People like to think that not having a schedule makes them daring adventurers and what not, but the truth is, without a schedule in place, you’ll become nothing more than a glorified procrastinator.
The lesson here? Make a schedule, day by day, task by task. You’ll find that you’re getting things done better than ever before, your gym sessions included.

6. Empower yourself

If you want to be your own hero, you need to wear the cape as well. A hero looks the part at all times, and you are no different.

The right training equipment and clothing can make all the difference not only for your performance, but also how you perceive yourself in the mirror. You can dress yourself up for success at Ryderwear, in order to inspire your mind, body and soul to get up, get to the gym, and crush your goals.

7. Bring your entourage

If you have friends that love to train, bring them with you. Friends motivate friends to stay dedicated and productive, and never skip leg days. Be sure to push yourselves and find inspiration in one another while maintaining a healthy competitive spirit.

8. Inspire others

Your Instagram account can be so much more than a place to post selfies with your cat, and yes, she’s precious. Find your motivation in the power of social media and start inspiring others to follow in your healthy footsteps. You will find that there is nothing more inspiring than being an inspiration to others.

9. Make a business out of it

Social media is a hub for lucrative business opportunities. If you need extra motivation to work out, here it is: the more you work towards your goals, the more opportunities for sponsorships and endorsements you will have. Think about that, it could change your life.

10. Broaden your horizons

Finally, nothing bad ever happened from learning new things. You might have grown accustomed to the same fitness game, and the time has finally come to broaden your horizons and venture into new and unexplored territory.

Whether you create a new fitness trend of your own, or you simply try out different training regimes, you are bound to find new inspiration and rekindle the fire in your heart.

Working out is a reward on its own, yet sometimes it can become overwhelming. Fortunately, now you have ten fresh motivational hacks to guide you through the storm and into the light, so grab a hack or two, wear your cape proudly, and be the hero of your own story!

  6. Good day
Read my testimony! Getting ex back after a breakup.
My boyfriend of a 2year just broke up with me and am 28 weeks pregnant. I have cried myself to sleep most of the nights and don’t seem to concentrate during lectures sometimes I stay awake almost all night thinking about him and start to cry all over again. Because of this I end up not having energy for my next day’s classes, my attendance has dropped and am always in uni and on time. Generally he is a very nice guy, he ended it because he said we were arguing a lot and not getting along. He is right we’ve been arguing during the pregnancy a lot. After the break up I kept ringing him and telling him I will change. I am in love with this guy and he is the best guy I have ever been with. I’m still hurt and in disbelief when he said he didn’t have any romantic feelings towards me anymore that hurt me faster than a lethal syringe. He texts me once and then mainly to check up on how am doing with the pregnancy, he is supportive with it but it’s not fair on me, him texting me as I just want to grieve the pain and not have any stress due to the pregnancy. I was really upset and I needed help, so I searched for help online and I came across a website that suggested that Dr Ahmed can help solve marital problems, restore broken relationships and so on. So I felt I should give him a try. I contacted him and he told me what to do and I did it then he did a spell for me. 28 hours later, my boyfriend came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. I and my boyfriend are living together happily again.. All thanks to Dr Ahmed. as it is a place to resolve marriage/relationship issues, do you want to be sure if your spouse is being faithful to you or Do you want your Ex to come back to you Contact.: E-mail: Ahmedutimate@gmail.com call him/What’s-app: +2348160153829 save your crumbling home. I suggest you contact him. He will not disappoint you.

  10. I definitely agree with these, especially envisioning your future and keeping a tidy work space!
One cool technique I saw was to get a notebook and write down your long term goals in the front page. Then every day, write down the things you did and see if any contributed to your goals. It helps keep you on track!
