Doodles and Skulls


Literally wearing myself has been my fashion mantra for the past couple of months. Being a visual artist, I've delved into the thought of exposing myself and my work this year, hence, wearing myself would be a great idea. So when my brothers cleaned out their closets and handed me a chunk of their old shirts, I painted on them!

And what better way to showcase them than to make my closet mural my backdrop for these photos!





My fascination and obsession with skulls is kind of creeping my mom out. But I'm just really into skulls when it comes to fashion and when I see skulls on clothing pieces, accessories, bags, and so on, I just have to have them!

When my mom saw this Leather Skull Shoulder Bag, her initial reaction was, "bakit bungo?!" (Why Skull?).

But I just find this bag from tosave.com elegantly fascinating. I love how the skull detail pops out and the other details of the bag in general cohesively makes the bag elegantly chic. I mean, I can use it for formal events and I can also use it daily. The only thing I don't like about this bag is its size. If only it can be bigger, then this would have been definitely my favorite perfect go-to bag as I always need to have a big bag. But I can live with its size, truth be told.

Another note, this bag comes in with a chain. However though, the chain isn't working perfectly fine. I can't connect the other end to the bag because it's broken. So I have to fix it in my spare time pa. I hope ToSave checked that before shipping it to me.





It's also been a while since I last wore this pair of shoes because it makes me so tall here in the Philippines. But I seriously love this pair!
