DIY 5 Seconds of Summer Jet Black Heart No Sew Off-Shoulder Top

Hello fangirls and fanboys! :"> If you're short on budget to buy concert outfit/s (because you've used up all your savings on concert tickets *ahem), why not try making your own concert shirt instead? I'll be showing you this super easy no sew off-shoulder shirt --- DIY 5 Seconds of Summer Jet Black Heart No Sew Off-Shoulder Top --- to be specific.

If you're a fanboy, you can just skip the cutting of the shirt and proceed to the painting instead. :)

MATERIALS:

+ Old T-shirt
+ Scissors
+ Textile Paint /s
+ Paint Brush

HOW TO MAKE:

1. First, wear your old shirt, measure how cropped you want your shirt to be, then poke a hole to mark it.

2. Next, lay the shirt down on your table (or on the floor) and cut. Make the hole that you poked earlier your guide.

3. After cutting, stretch it!

4. Then follow the steps I posted on DIY Open-Shoulder Top if you haven't read it yet and if you don't know how to create an off-shoulder top yet.

5. Do the same on the other side.

6. And now, time for the fun part! Painting!~

Basically, when I paint my shirt, I don't use templates or any whatsoever because I like painting with whatever comes and floats my boat. But the way I do it is like this:

7. Insert an old illustration board in your shirt so you'll don't mess up the back of your shirt with paint like what happened to my pillow when I forgot to do this step.

8. From there, write down "Jet Black Heart" or anything that you like using textile paint. I like to write softly on the shirt at first so I'll know if it will look okay or if ever I mess up it would be easier to correct. Once I'm happy, I'll be painting everything up using a thicker amount of paint.

For this shirt though, I wanted to make it look like a bit messy.

And then we're done! I didn't wear this shirt to the 5SOS Philippine concert though but I basically wear this on a regular basis.

So anyway, you're now ready to rock that (5 Seconds of Summer) concert and have a unique shirt and have a blast! :)
