Use My Tips If You Want Your Bathroom To Be Stylish And Comfortable

When we come in from work at the end of the day, we all want the opportunity to relax and soak in a comfortable room. Or, in the morning when we wake up, we want to complete our ablutions in a place of serenity. With a few adjustments and modifications, your bathroom can be that place for you. Take my advice and use these tips to make some improvements. It won’t cost a lot, and you certainly will not regret it.

Upgrade Your Shower Or Tub

The first thing I want you to consider is upgrading your shower or tub. Particularly, if you have been unhappy with your morning or nightly wash. It may be that you feel cramped when you get in the bath and that you can’t stretch out properly. Or, that you’re fed up of getting in the shower and being greeted with a weak drizzle of water. Either way, it’s time to make some modifications. This can be quite an expensive change, so why not choose one or the other. Upgrade the fixture that you use the most. If you’re a shower person, you can get a new pump that’s going to make your morning bathe a dream come true. Or, if you love your weekend baths, invest in a bigger tub. If you don’t have much space, you can buy a corner model. This saves space and gives you the extra room you need to enjoy an extra long soak.

Candles And Incense

A smaller change this one, but just as valuable. If you want to give the room a relaxing atmosphere, I recommend buying some candles or incense sticks. You can put these wherever you like but the best place for them is around the side of the tub. You can get a scented variety if you like and for the best effect, you should soak in a hot bubble bath with the lights off. You will be astounded by the tranquility that washes over you if you try this. Add some music in the background to complete the effect. It is possible to get a music player installed in your bathroom, or you can just listen to it from another room.

Getting Rid Of The Mess

Of course, if your bathroom is crowded with accessories and items, it’s not going to feel comfortable or look stylish. To deal with this problem, consider purchasing a vanity cabinet. These helpful pieces of furniture are great for keeping your bathroom a clean and tidy space. You can find out more about these features at bellabathrooms.co.uk. If you’re worried about the lack of room, you don’t have to worry. These cabinets fit under your sink out of the way and leave the place looking neat and tidy. You can also consider installing some shelves to the walls. However, you’ll still be able to see the items so it might seem messy.

Home Comforts

Lastly, you can think about adding some other accessories that increase your comfort. For instance, in my bathroom I have a heated towel rack. This provides the perfect warm embrace after I step out the bath from a long, hot, soak.

  2. I have never seen bathtubs like that before - they look so clean and shiny and like they hold a very large volume of water. It must be a treat taking a bath in one. All of your suggestions for improving the stylishness and comfort of bathrooms sound great.

  4. we got a fiberglass tub after having cast iron for many years. I think I've only taken one bath in it. The rest have been showers. It's shower/bath, I don't have two separate ones
