A heart-rendering combination of panic and hope

Hey, so I went to work today looking like this (minus the floral crown) and I got this very weird feedback...

"Are you an atheist?"

I'm not sure if it was a serious question because she jokingly asked that. haha. My initial reaction was, "OMG ate hindi noh! tignan mo nga oh may crucifix ako. haha." (OMG ate, no! Look, I have a crucifix).  F.Y.I. the crucifix I was wearing was actually a crucifix similar to Pope Francis', which was given to me during the honoring night that I was invited to along with the other students who served whole-heartedly for the Lord through stepping up and accepting the responsibility for their religious organization.

Can I not wear whatever I like and not get too much attention because of it? Oh well, I guess if I'm working in a design firm this isn't a big deal. haha. I can't wait for that to happen! :)

Anyway, if you'll ask me, this is actually one of my best ensembles so far and I love it! I think I have two specific styles --- a "girly-girly flowy and dreamy style" and a "girly-goth, i-hate-the-world style". At least I was able to be consistent in being girly. haha.

I'm happy that I was able to put together this 3-piece statement necklace which I got individually. The crucifix which I mentioned earlier has a sentimental value. And it also has this double-purpose - for my religion (Roman Catholic) and also as a fashion piece. :)) The shortest necklace is from born pretty while the longest one is from Kisty Mea of Let's Go Wander

WEARING: Off-shoulder top from SM Dept. Store Clearance Outlet | Kaymar Alekzis Shop Floral Crown | Thrifted Skirt | Shoes from my secret shop | Necklaces c/o born pretty and from Ate Kisty Mea and UST (CCM) | Bracelets c/o Cutey, Chinese Apparel, and Rings and Tings

In case you're wondering, my means of transportation is via jeepney, and yes I wear ensembles like this even if I commute. haha. :) Also, I think I kinda look creepy on my way home because imagine me standing still in the corner while waiting for a jeep and then it rained so I used my purple umbrella. HAHA.

    1. Hi Morgan, thanks a lot! :) Yes I do. Most of my outfit photos (those taken in my room), I take them myself. But outdoors, I usually ask my mom, dad, brothers, cousins, or friends to take them. haha :)))

  7. Grabe bagyo pa naman noh. Kasi dito sa pinas satin palagi lang nakabasics with matching weird prints na jeje ang suot ng mga tao. Saludo ko sayo nakasuot ka ng mga outfits habang nagcocommute sa jeep :) .
