DIY Coaster

I'm a believer of the make-believe creatures even if I'm already on the last year of my teenage life. I'm also a tea drinker and wanted to live in the woods so to make ends meet, I've decided to do this project!

Follow the simple steps below to make your personalized, forest-like coaster!

MATERIALS:
-Corkboard or Foam Board
-Colored Duct tape/ masking tape or colored paper tape
 -acetate
-a piece of your original illustrationh on watercolor paper or browse on the web and print it out
-scissors
-ruler
-paper clamp (to hold the pieces temporarily)

STEPS:
1. Cut out a 4"x4" (or whatever size you want) piece of watercolor paper then draw and paint on it. You can also write words like what I did.
2. Cut the cork board and acetate in the same size.
3. Next, layer the pieces together --- the corkboard at the bottom, the illustration on the middle, and the acetate on top. You can use a paper clamp to hold the pieces temporarily.
4. Using a colored duct tape (I used a paper tape for the "living in the woods" vibe), secure the pieces together. Make sure that they're evenly placed.
