INSPIRATION: Life's a dream x My Photoshoot Update

Will display my tutus and other ballet costumes, ever since I was 4, this way.

"TO A LAYMAN, A BALLERINA SEEMS INCOMPREHENSIBLY FUSSY ABOUT HER SHOES. BUT FOR A DANCER THE POINTE SHOE IS MORE THAN JUST A TOOL OF THE TRADE, MORE THAN A TRADITION, MORE THAN A COSTUME. IT IS AN EXTENSION OF HER BODY, INTIMATELY RELATED TO HER PROFESSION AND HER ART. IT IS THE ESSENTIAL “EQUIPMENT” THAT MAKES HER DANCING POSSIBLE."
Eliza Minden

Love these detachable collars! Will make one for myself one of these days.

Amazing pointe! I hope I can improve mine.

I hope I can lie down in a bed of pointe shoes!! =)

As a ballerina, it's been my nature to adore and admire anything that's related to my passion. I'm very inspired and I must say, it really is a part of my life! This feeling I have for ballet and for dancing can't be explained in words so I've decided to do Inspiration posts so I could share this magic I feel towards ballet and hopefully, you'll be inspired too and you'll realize that ballet is not just beauty, grace and glitters! :3

Anyway, I just got home from the photoshoot! I told you guys in my last blog post that it was yesterday but due to circumstances, it was moved today so yeeeaaaah. haha! Super fun! Can't wait for you guys to see it. But just to give you an idea, it was not a fashion photoshoot. I was a ballerina so I was just doing my thing and the raw photos are amazing! Can't wait for you guys to see the edited and more beautiful photos! woohoo! Please keep visiting my blog because I love you all! haha. :)))

P.S. I also love the appearances of these photos. They're soft and relaxing. Might try to shoot photos like this very soon. ☺

Follow me on pinterest dearies so you can easily pin some of the photos I blog.

Have a nice week pretty ladies and handsome dudes!

  5. Oh wow! I love all your inspiration photos, these are all so soft and dreamy and speaking of which, Marie Antoniette the movie reminds me a lot of this as well despite being pretty un-related to ballet in general.

  8. These are all very stunning photos, Abigail. The one that really grabbed my attention is the 4th photo. The shoes illustrate how hard being a ballerina is but despite all these struggles, passionate ballet dancers still continue on doing what they love the most in order to improve and become much better dancers. =)
